The initial consultation fee is $300 for a one-hour consultation for most matters, and $175 for a 30-minute consultation (other than for estate planning matters, which initial consultations generally are free). In some cases, the initial consultation fee will be applied to the fees for work subsequently performed on a matter. Payment for the initial consultation fee must be made at the time the meeting is scheduled (by Zelle, credit card, debit card or other payment apps), or in advance by check before the consultation can be scheduled. A unique calendar link will be provided upon request for scheduling purposes.

Please inquire for attorney rates for general business, estate planning and nonprofit matters. Rates generally are higher for tax-related matters. Rates for nonprofit matters also include flat fee packages starting at $4,000 for review of documents for formation of new nonprofit entities, with higher package amounts for completion and filing of state and federal applications for tax-exempt status. Estate planning packages also start as low as $1,200 for a single person ($1,800 for a married couple or domestic partnership), which includes preparation of a Will, Advance Directive and Power of Attorney. Rates for preparation of trusts (and assistance with funding) will be higher. Fixed-fee arrangements also are available on select non-tax matters.

Small businesses also should inquire about the Virtual General Counsel plan. The Virtual General Counsel plan allows a limited number of smaller businesses to obtain virtual round-the-clock general counsel services at a fraction of the normal cost of a full-time general counsel.
